2010 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person
LeGarrette Blount, RB, Oregon
Without much discussion, Blount is one of the Draft's biggest risks. At 6-foot-1 -- with the bulk of a truck and deceptively good speed -- he should command the attention of all NFL teams. But as of today, few (if any) are likely to select him in the first part of the draft. That has to do more with his off the field issues than his projected talent. On the field, he is among the best inside runners of this class; A downhill runner who attacks the line with abandon. He possesses good vision that enables him to recognize the hole quickly, and has good initial quickness off the snap. Blount bounces many of his runs that commence inside to the outside with ease. He has a rare flexibility for a man his size, running with a low pad alignment -- giving defenders little to hit between his knees and shoulders. He has tremendous leg drive, which helps him finish most of his runs with determination. Despite his 7.3 yards per carry in 2008, Blount lacks breakaway speed. He is also a below average receiver (only two catches in 2008). Though he has a good frame and strength to be a better-than-average blocker, for some reason he is below standards. Of course, Blount's biggest weakness is his character. The issue at Boise State has been well documented. That and several other scrimmages with rules and regulation have made him toxic to many in the NFL.

Prediction: 1st Round
Corey Dillon, no... He's faster than him and like 15 lbs. heavier. I think he'll be a beast in the NFL, just needs to get his head on straight.

Prediction: 1st Round
Over time he will will take the route of Reuben Droughns.. A team will take the chance but will be sadly disappointed in the long-run despite his talent!. Let's say 4th-5th round as character trunps talent!

Prediction: 3rd Round
no corey dillon? he runs with power and has nice agility through the hole. I have seen both play many times. reminds me a ton of dillon's running style.

Prediction: Undrafted
Too slow, not to mention the Boise State incident. Is a strong runner that if he shows he's not gonna be a headcase good be a decent goal line back.
