The thing you all didn' t know or forgot is the Alexander had beat out Maclin his first and second year it was injuries that kept him from being the number one wide reciever. When healthy he was actually the one that the big twelve actually worried about. Don' t get me wrong Maclin is still one of the best that ever played for Mizzou. His routes were never a problem with Daniels. It was a nervous Gabbert that screwed up about 52% of the plays another was 34% was him makeing a bad judgment for coverage reads, and 14% was bad routes.
Despite the injury history, there is too much talent to pass up if available in the 5th. He has solid size and good acceleration for a guy his size.
I think he will go undrafted. He'll probably be signed by the Rams late in the offseason, have a great 4 catch 72 yards 1 TD game in the first game of his career against the Chargers leading them to victory. Then he will probably have to have minor surgery on his knee again and come back a few weeks later against the Broncos.
You're right. He didn't put up Maclin type numbers, he put up better ones, although very similar. He should go 1st round, but he is not the best route runner. Whoever gets him is lucky to get him in the 3rd or later.
