2010 NFL Mock Draft

Ben tied for the sixth most accurate 2009 NFL Mock Draft according to The Huddle Report, finishing ahead of Mel Kiper and Jay Glazer.

Round 1 of 1

1. STL: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame*
Marc Bulger is dead QB walking and franchise needs a PR lift. Enter the Golden Domer Clausen, who has shot up to the top charts with a strong start and a power arm.
2. CLE: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma*
Bradford stays in the top-5, but could be a slider depending on the severity of his latest injury. The Brady Quinn era is not expected to last beyond this year with the Browns.
3. TB: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
The now officially rebuilding Bucs get the inside presence they have lacked since Warren Sapp danced out of town. Suh is arguably the best player in college this season.
4. OAK: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Berry is considered by some to be the most talented player in the draft and secondary is a need. QB is an option but will Raiders want to deal with training another rook?
5. WAS: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma St.
Going QB here is ideal for the Redskins star-struck owner, but he is saved from himself with the top two off the board. O-line is their biggest need and Okung starts immediately.
6. DET: Gerald McCoy , DT, Oklahoma
Ideally the Lions would like to add some pass protectors for Matthew Stafford, but with Okung gone, they address the front wall on the other side.
7. TEN: Joe Haden, CB, Florida*
The biggest reason for the Titans 0-6 start? The collapse of their once formidable secondary. Haden is one of the keys to the Gators suffocating defense.
8. JAX: Taylor Mays, S, USC
The Jags finally try to fix their leaky secondary and Mays would have gone top-15 pick if he came out in '09. As for Tim Tebow, will trade late into the first for him. Bet it.
9. BUF: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
The issue for the Bills offense is not weapons, its protection. Granted, Owens is a one-and-doner so a receiver makes sense, but whomever the new coach will be will want a big ugly.
10. KC: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa*
Matt Cassel was brought in to help turnaround the Chiefs offense, but he is mostly running for his life behind a suspect offensive line that needs help at tackle.
