David Stremme News, Rumors, and Rankings
Latest Driver and Team News & Rumors
2009 Predicted Points Finish: #28
Stremme will be hindered by the fact that he is a year behind the curve with the Car of Tomorrow. He ran the full season in 2007 but was released by Ganassi, a team which brought in unproven driver Christian Fittipaldi and ended up caving in. Still, he stayed around the sport and drove in the Nationwide Series during 2008. Stremme is a proven commodity; you know you're getting a guy who knows how to drive race cars. He will be taking over the #12 driven by Ryan Newman full time since 2002, his best opportunity for success in racing's major league. Expect him to not miss a beat on the restrictor plate tracks, but take some time to adjust elsewhere.
