Golf Rankings for Farmers Insurance Open
Nick Watney [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #23
From 2009-11 Watney finished inside the top 10 for all three Torrey Pines starts. Last year, during a season in which he struggled often, Watney finished T60 in this event. While he was decent in the season opener, Watney has been very disappointing in recent memory (aside from a FedEx Cup playoff victory).
Bill Haas [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #29
Haas has finished 11th or better in three of the last four events at Torrey Pines. However, he's struggled so far this year with a poor showing in the season opener and missing last week's cut.
Leishman struggled in the season opener, but came right back with a top-10 at the Sony Open the following week. Last year Leishman finished a career-worst T52 in his four career starts at Torrey Pines. However, he finished T9 in 2011 and T2 in 2010.
Colsaerts is a first timer at Torrey Pines but made quite a splash in the European Tour last year. He finished T7 in the British Open and notched another T7 stateside at the Wyndham Championship.
Vijay Singh [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #100
Singh is coming off a T20 in the Sony Open. In the last two years at Torrey Pine he has finished T13 and T20.
Ben Crane [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #106
From 2009-11 Crane finished no worse than 14th at Torrey Pines, highlighted by a win in 2010. However, he missed the cut last year and wasn't much of a factor for much of the season. Crane is coming off a missed cut in last week's Humana Challenge.
Jason Day [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #35
Day struggled in the second half of 2012, but managed a top-five in the Fall Series. He hasn't competed at Torrey Pines since 2010 when he missed cut.
Jimmy Walker [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #80
Walker is coming off mediocre finishes of T26 and T23 over the last two weeks. A year ago he finished a career-best T8 at Torrey Pines.
Brendon de Jonge [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #73
Despite shooting sub-70 scores in all eight of his rounds played in 2013, de Jonge has yet to record a top-45 finish. He's made four starts at Torrey Pines since 2007, notching a career-best T27 last year.
John Huh [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #88
In his first trip to Torrey Pines last year, Huh recorded a T6. This will be Huh's third start of the season after pedestrian performances to begin 2013.
John Senden [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #46
Senden has struggled in his two starts this season after posting typically sound results throughout 2012. Back in 2008 he finished T8 in this event, but has only made two starts at Torrey Pines since. Most recently he missed the cut in 2011.
Pat Perez [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #147
Over the last two years, Perez has finished T22 and T20 at Torrey Pines. He started this season off with a T9 at the Sony Open, but missed the cut last week.
