Golf Rankings for Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation
John Senden [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #46
Senden has managed two top-10s over the last four years in the Humana. Senden ended 2012 ranked 13th in total driving and All-Around Ranking. He is a solid player most weeks and should perform well against a somewhat limited field.
English made the cut in his first six starts of 2012 and tallied three top-20 finishes, including a T19 at the Humana. He is coming off a T9 in last week's Sony Open.
Chris Kirk [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #79
After missing three straight mid-season cuts last year, Kirk went on to make 11 straight and just finished T5 at the Sony Open. In his Humana debut in 2011, he finished T7, but dropped to T42 last year.
Geoff Ogilvy [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #49
Ogilvy has been on Tour for quite a while now, but is making his debut start in the Humana this week. Last year he only missed two cuts all season and recorded a top-20 or top-30 most weeks, but didn't offer much beyond that.
Pat Perez [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #147
Perez won this event back in 2009 and finished with a T14 in the Humana last year. He finished T9 last week at the Sony Open.
Wilson is defending champ of the Humana after he missed the cut here in 2011. He started this season with a T11 in the Hyundai, but missed the cut in the Sony Open. Wilson has been an erratic player and could be very overvalued this week for last year's performance.
Russell Henley [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #48
The 23 year old Henley won in his pro debut last week in the Sony Open, while breaking the event's scoring record. It is impossible to know what the rookie has in store for his second Tour event, but Henley is worth thinking about among lower-tier players.
Carl Pettersson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #34
Pettersson has finished no better than T35 in seven career starts in the Humana. He began the year with a solo eighth in the season opener, but struggled in the Sony.
Brian Gay [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #109
From 2009-11 Gay recorded three straight top-20s in the Humana, but finished T42 a year ago. He's coming off a respectable T31 in the Sony.
Kevin Na - World Ranking: #84
Na missed the cut last week, but has a good chance to rebound quickly. He's made three straight cuts in the Humana with a T5 in 2011 and a T8 in 2010.
Bud Cauley [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #89
Cauley is coming off a missed cut at the Sony, but showed flashes in 2012 with several hot and cold streaks. He finished T30 in the Humana last year.
Gary Woodland [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #198
Despite earning a share of second at the Humana in 2011, Woodland skipped the event last year. Much of 2012 was forgettable for Woodland after showing a lot of promise in 2011.
