Carl Pettersson [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #145
After a top-10 finish in THE PLAYERS Championship, Pettersson missed three cuts in four starts until registering a T17 in last week’s Greenbrier Classic. Pettersson ranks 12th in strokes gained putting, scoring average and is 15th in All-Around Ranking.
Robert Garrigus [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #98
Over his last eight starts, Garrigus has collected four top-15s and is coming off a T4 at Congressional. While he hasn’t done much in his four trips to TPC Deere Run, Garrigus ranks fourth in driving distance, 15th in greens in regulation percentage and 20th in birdie average.
Scott Piercy [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #66
When Piercy makes the cut he’s been able to put up good finishes. In 19 starts he’s missed eight cuts, but also owns nine finishes inside the top 25.
Ken Duke [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #110
The 43 year old Duke has been turning back the clock this season with half a dozen top-10 finishes in 20 starts, including three of the last six. He ranks 16th in strokes gained – putting, 26th in scoring average and 25th in All-Around Ranking.
Pat Perez [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #100
Perez is riding a streak of six straight cuts made with one top-10 and five top-30s. He ranks 19th in both birdie average and All-Around Ranking.
Daniel Summerhays [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #139
Summerhays owns a pair of top-fives and three finishes inside the top-20 over his last four starts. He missed the cut in last year’s John Deere Classic, but looks like a much different player right now.
After missing six straight cuts, Reavie has rebounded with T11 and T15 finishes in his last two outings. Last year he finished a career-best T5 at TPC Deere Run.
The pending birth of his child caused Every to withdraw from his last several events, but now following the arrival of a baby boy he’ll return to action at TPC Deere Run. While he’s missed eight cuts in 15 starts this season, Every has also scored five finishes inside the top 10.
Charles Howell III [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #56
Despite four missed cuts and zero top-25s in his last seven starts, Howell deserves some attention at TPC Deere Run thanks to last year’s top-five finish.
David Hearn [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #147
Since missing four straight cuts, Hearn has made eight consecutive with three top-15s and five top-25s in that span.
Hamilton has only made four Tour starts this season, but has been very solid at the John Deere Classic with six top-30s in eight starts and only one missed cut.
Ryan Moore [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #30
Moore has made nine consecutive cuts, but has gone without a top-25 over his last five.
