13. Pat Perez [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #102

Since missing three cuts in four events, Perez has one top-10 and three top-25s in his last four starts since. Perez finished T3 at Congressional in 2007, T12 in 08 but missed the cut in 09.

14. J.B. Holmes [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #165

A poor third round in last week’s Travelers Championship cost Holmes a likely third straight top-20 finish this season. While Holmes doesn’t have much of a track record at Congressional, he’s been a competitive player in his recent events.

15. Seung-yul Noh [Yahoo Class C]

The 21-year-old rookie from South Korea has made eight straight cuts and is coming off two straight top-20s for the first time. Noh competed in last year’s U.S. Open at Congressional and finished T30.

16. Rory Sabbatini [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #158

Sabbatini has never competed in this event, but has played Congressional with a solo sixth in 2005 and a T30 last year. Before last week’s T18 at the Travelers Championship, Sabbatini scored a share of second at the Memorial.

17. Robert Garrigus [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #99

Garrigus landed one top-10 in three starts between missing cuts at THE PLAYERS and the U.S. Open. However, he’s been solid at Congressional with three top-30s at the AT&T National and a share of third in last year’s Open.

18. Kevin Chappell [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #111

The 25 year old Chappell has missed three of his last five cuts, but was impressive during his last outing (a T10 in the U.S. Open at the Olympic Club). Last year he matched a Sunday-best round of 66 and finished T3 in last year’s Open at Congressional.

19. Cameron Tringale [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #113

Last week’s T15 at the Travelers Championship is Tringale's best performance since rattling off three straight top-10s to start the month of April. Tringale ranks 12th in birdie average and 20th in total driving.

20. Ryan Moore [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #33

After collecting two top-fives and three top-10s in a span of four starts, Moore has cooled off with four straight finishes outside of the top 25, but has made each cut. From 2007-09, Moore collected two top-25s at Congressional with one missed cut.

21. Nick Watney [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #47

While Watney is the defending winner of this event, it was not at Congressional and he’s been playing quite poorly for much of the season. Over his last nine starts, Watney has one top-10, but has missed two cuts and has finished outside of the top 50 a total of six times.

22. Bryce Molder [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #169

Molder began the season as a top-20 machine, but has only landed one top-25 in his last seven starts. In his only starts at Congressional he landed an impressive solo fourth in 2009.

23. Charley Hoffman [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #84

Coming off a share of second in last week’s Travelers Championship, Hoffman heads to Congressional where he finished T19 in 2007 and T45 last year. Hoffman ranks 19th in total driving but has only managed consecutive top-40 finishes once all season.

24. Ben Curtis [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #103

After a string of four straight finishes inside the top 15 with three top-fives (which was sparked by his first win since 2006), Curtis missed the cut at Memorial before taking some time off. His only start at Congressional was a missed cut in 07.
