Optimism regarding injured Patriots WR Aaron Dobson, TE Rob Gronkowski

It's way to early to make any definitive statements on the health of Patriots Rob Gronkowski @RobGronkowski and Aaron Dobson, but it seems like both players are heading in the right direction to return by their individual targets dates.
Paul Perillo of Patriots Football Weekly wrote over the weekend that "all signs point toward Gronk being ready to go in Week 1 ..." Gronkowski tore an ACL and MCL in December.
Meanwhile, Nick Underhill of MassLive.com has been told by a source that there is optimism Dobson will be available at the start of training camp after undergoing offseason foot surgery. Both players sat out of offseason practices.

Fantasy Analysis:

Underhill's story is more of a report while Perillo presents more of a guess. Dobson is an interesting mid-draft sleeper, but the man everyone's watching here is Gronk. There have been multiple positive reports regarding his rehab of late, and many fantasy owners seem to be buying in as evidenced by a third-round ADP. If he is fully healthy by Week 1, he should really be a second-round pick, but again, it's way too early. If there's one thing we've learned about Gronk through the past two seasons it's not to trust his body to hold up for long. He may incur a setback between now and September. I would just like to see drafters exercise a little more caution with such a high pick. I'll have to see substantial progress from Gronk in training camp -- if we even see him at all -- to pay his current price.
