Broncos WR Wes Welker isn't thinking about retirement

There's a chance Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will be forced to think about retiring after the Super Bowl. His top slot receiver is having no such thoughts of his own. Despite suffering a couple of concussions this season and the fact that he will turn 33 in a few months, Wes Welker @WesWelker said Wednesday that he will be back for 2014 even if the Broncos win Sunday. The reason: He's having too much fun.
"Of course it would be a good way to end it, but I am still having fun," Welker said. "I am still enjoying the game. I feel good, and as long as I am out there having fun, I will continue to play."

Fantasy Analysis:

Those words come with the caveat that the next brain-damaging hit Welker takes could end his career abruptly. That goes for all players, I guess. Welker scored 10 touchdowns in 13 regular-season games this season. However, he topped 90 yards just once. Welker's 73 catches and 778 yards were eight-year lows. He will be a safe and unspectacular WR2 next season as long as Manning's spring physical comes back clean.
