Dolphins hire Eagles QBs coach Bill Lazor to be OC

ESPN's Ed Werder said on television Tuesday that Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor is going to be the Lions' new offensive coordinator. Today, Lazor did become an offensive coordinator, but not for the Lions. Instead, he accepted the same position with the Dolphins.
Lazor, 41, spent last year coaching up Nick Foles. He was the Virginia Cavaliers' offensive coordinator for 2010-12.

Fantasy Analysis:

Lazor will call his own plays. One can only hope that he will take some of his Midas touch with Foles and use it on Ryan Tannehill @ryantannehill1, who made strides in his second season. However, I'll be more interested to see how Lazor handles Miami's running game. He needs to do something former offensive coordinator Mike Sherman refused to do: give Lamar Miller @millertime_6 more work. The Dolphins also need to overhaul their crumbled offensive line.
