Of the myriad Chiefs felled during Saturday's painful loss to the Colts, it appears running back Knile Davis has come away with the worst injuries. While wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has what is considered a mild foot sprain, and Jamaal Charles , Brandon Flowers , and Donnie Avery are all recovering from concussions, Davis has been diagnosed with a fractured leg and sprained knee. It is unknown if he will be ready for organized team activities in the spring.
Davis spent his rookie year as Charles' handcuff, carrying the ball 70 times for 242 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season. Unless he heals really slowly, the Chiefs won't be looking high in the draft for a running back. As Davis displayed when he received extended duty in Week 17 and last Saturday, he is a quality player in his own right. In those two games, Davis totaled 186 yards from scrimmage and four scores. He has considerable dynasty appeal.
