Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew returns to practice, is a game-time decision

Adrian Peterson and Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32 have a lot in common. Besides the obvious, both are looking to play in Week 16 after taking a game off to rest an injured body part. Neither player practiced on Wednesday or Thursday but did put in some work Friday, and both players are listed as questionable for Sunday. The key difference may be the outside opinion on each player's chances. While Peterson is expected by the media -- and his head coach to be -- active versus the Bengals, the feeling on Jones-Drew is a little more negative. Hays Carlyon, the Jaguars' beat writer for the Florida Times-Union, tweeted Friday that he doesn't think Jones-Drew will be ready for this weekend's game versus the Titans.

Fantasy Analysis:

Fortunately, the Jaguars-Titans is an early game Sunday, so we'll know MJD's official status sometime that morning. Jordan Todman @JordanTodman, who racked up more than 150 yards on 29 touches while filling the Jones-Drew for last week, is another great matchup staring right at him in Week 16 as the Titans have allowed the second-most fantasy points to RBs this season. Todman would be a very solid RB2 if Jones-Drew needs more time off.
