Packers QB Aaron Rodgers officially OUT week 15

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Packers All-Pro quarterback, Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 (broken collarbone) has officially been ruled Out for Sunday's tilt vs. the Dallas Cowboys. Rodgers is recovering and had been taking some first team reps this week. He had been listed as Questionable until Friday. Matt Flynn will get the start in his place.

Fantasy Analysis:

In the fantasy world, Rodgers owners were doing the same thing Packers fans were doing this week... praying that A-Rod got a chance to go up against the Cowboys, who rank #32 on the year in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. With linebacker Sean Lee unlikely to play for Dallas, this was looking to be an even more favorable matchup for the Packers passing attack.

As it stands, QB Matt Flynn will get the start and try his hand at having a big day. Flynn did have a serviceable game last week vs. Atlanta, throwing for 258 yds and a touchdown, and rushing for 28 yds. However, turnovers were the issue, with him losing a fumble and throwing an interception. Even with the favorable matchup, Flynn is still a reach this week. We have him ranked #24 at the QB position. Let's face it, he's no Aaron Rodgers.

The good news for the Packers and Eddie Lacy owners is that the RB has recovered nicely from his ankle injury and has been upgraded to Probable for Sunday. Due to Rodgers absence, expect Lacy to get extra carries and to have a big day.
