Redskins TE Jordan Reed misses practice again, checked by multiple doctors

According to Washington Redskins beat writer, Mike Jones, TE Jordan Reed missed practice again Thursday and is still being checked/tested by multiple doctors. Jones reports that, in addition to ongoing headaches, Reed has yet to pass any of the required concussion tests.

Fantasy Analysis:

"Hey, Kirk Cousins @KirkCousins8! We're going to give you the keys to a '79 Chevette that's almost out of gas & then take away one of the wheels!!"

That's the equivalent of what this means for the Redskins offense. Reed had established himself as a solid option at the TE position in all scoring formats this year. But since his injury, owners who have grown to count on him are looking elsewhere. It's looking like that could continue this week, as the shreds of optimism that he might play this week are becoming less and less. While the Redskins offense, overall, is a mess, someone has to do something against the lowly Atlanta Falcons defense, which gives up the 7th most total yds in the league. The benefactors would appear to be WR Pierre Garcon @PierreGarcon and RB Alfred Morris @Trey_Deuces. If you're desperate at TE, Logan Paulsen could be a sneaky pick-up, as he's scored a touchdown in each of the last two games that Reed has missed.
