Patriots WR Aaron Dobson misses Wednesday practice

New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson did not participate in Wednesday's practice for undisclosed reasons. The rookie did not register a single catch against Denver last week and only played two snaps in the second half. There have been no reports about any specific injuries to the former Marshall receiver. Next up on the depth chart if Dobson misses any time is fellow rookie Kenbrell Thompkins.

Fantasy Analysis:

Dobson's ascension to the top of the depth chart came weeks ago, making his disappearance in Week 12 even more puzzling. Houston is up next for New England and the Texans have dropped nine straight games. Rushing Dobson back from injury, if there is one, shouldn't be a pressing concern. When he comes back, he's a solid flex play but like all Patriots playmakers, consistency will always be an issue. Trust Thompkins at your own risk should he see more playing time. Tons of mouths to feed in this offense.
