Packers WR Randall Cobb unsure he will return in 2013

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb @rcobb18 is currently on the short-term injured reserve; however, he recently said he is unsure if he'll be able to play this season. His statement was more about a refusal to speculate, rather than expressing doubt about coming back. "I can't make that call right now. Right now, today, I cannot play," Cobb said. "This is something that needs time. It's getting better. There's still no timeline on when I can come back."

Fantasy Analysis:

Cobb might be able to get some light work in before the postseason, assuming Green Bay makes the playoffs at all. The former Kentucky receiver has not played since Week 6. The Packers could certainly use his services. They're losers of three straight and are in a logjam for a Wild Card spot. WR Jarrett Boykin @BoyKinHeCatch has filled-in very well since being called into action. He and RB Eddie Lacy have been the two huge contributors to step up with Cobb out of action. If you're in a shallow league, you should cut Cobb loose, especially if your playoffs end in Week 15.
