49ers TE Vernon Davis says he's 'feeling great' following Week 10 concussion
49ers tight end Vernon Davis doesn't know if the concussion he suffered in Week 10 will keep him out of Sunday's game at New Orleans, but so far, Davis is feeling pretty good, physically.
"I'm doing fine, feeling great and just taking it one day at a time," Davis said Tuesday. "I have to wait for doctors to let me know what I can do next. ... I didn't really have too many symptoms. My memory was good. My balance was OK."
Davis has yet to pass his neurological tests.
Davis' situation is tricky because this is the second concussion he has suffered in an 11-month span. The Niners may use that fact as reason to play it safe with their elite tight end. We'll pass along more updates on Davis as they come out. For now, you can put him in your lineup, but have a backup plan ready.
