There are reports floating around the New York Jets' local media about wide receiver Jeremy Kerley possibly having an elbow subluxation/dislocation. The soon-to-be 25-year-old was forced out of action during the second quarter in Week 9 with this aforementioned elbow injury. He was not able to return to the game.
The Jets do have a Week 10 bye so Kerley does have some time to possibly get healthy, if possible. It's also possible this injury could end his season. If Kerley is out, this forces WRs David Nelson and Stephen Hill into larger offensive roles. Fortunately for New York, WR Santonio Holmes could return to the field in Week 11. Kerley is currently the team's leader in receptions (28), receiving yards (347) and tied for the team-lead in receiving TDs (2).
