Carolina will activate RB Jonathan Stewart from PUP list Saturday

It's looking more and more likely Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 will play in Week 9 after the team let it be known he will be activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list Saturday. It will be his first action of the season if he does play against Atlanta. The 26-year-old has been recovering from ankle surgeries for months now.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Panthers have been on a bit of a nice hot streak thanks to Cam Newton's recent QB play. Having Stewart in the mix should be a blessing, but it will also take away from DeAngelo Williams @DeAngeloRB' strong first half to the season. Well, strong for Williams in the sense he's had almost no competition for touches and gaining good yardage totals in spite of Mike Tolbert's touchdown-poaching ways. Stewart should be added in most leagues as soon as possible in case he assumes a starting role sooner rather than later.

I have Williams on my roster; Should I drop him NOW to pick up Stewart or wait and see? Thoughts?

I personally have dropped him but would look for better options then Stewart

I also have Charles, Vereen and Murray, but I need a RB2 for week 10 - the only real options are Stewart and Miller
