Broncos QB Peyton Manning has 2 sprained ankles

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, both of Peyton Manning's ankles are sprained, and one is a high-ankle sprain. Manning missed a day of practice this week because of his ankles and will take a painkiller today, but he is all set to play this afternoon against the Redskins.

Fantasy Analysis:

At first glance, this opens some eyes. But really, this shouldn't be a huge deal for Manning since he doesn't run at all. We'll see if the sprains affect the velocity of his throws. There hasn't even been a whisper that Manning is at risk of missing today's game or any upcoming action, and he should be in all fantasy lineups. The Broncos are on bye next week. Just for future reference, Manning's backup is Brock Osweiler @BrockOsweiler.
