Colts WR Reggie Wayne done with torn ACL

The Indianapolis Colts will be without the services of wide receiver Reggie Wayne @Reggie_Wayne87 for the rest of the 2013 season. The former Miami Hurricanes receiver is done after tearing his ACL during the Colts' dramatic win over the Denver Broncos. The 34-year-old tried to make a play on a pass just out of his reach. T.Y. Hilton and Darrius Heyward-Bey @theDHB85 will have to step up in his absence.

Fantasy Analysis:

Hilton is now the go-to receiver for Andrew Luck. If there was ever a time to make a trade or call up a diamond in the rough from the practice squad, this would be it. The Colts only have LaVon Brazill @BrazillLaVon and David Reed available on their receiver depth chart. Neither player has made any significant contributions during their few years in the league. Indy's passing attack was already having some problems. They are ranked 24th in passing yards per game (215.4). In terms of fantasy points scored per game by their WRs, they're mediocre at best, ranking 17th in the league with 20.7 FP/g.
