Browns RB Willis McGahee rests Thursday

Cleveland Browns running back Willis McGahee did not practice Thursday; however, it was not due to a specific injury. The coaching staff allowed McGahee to have a rest day in preparation for Week 7. The Browns want him to receive significant rest as to not place too much strain on his surgically-replaced knee. He will play on Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis:

The former Miami Hurricanes star has seen quality touch numbers since his arrival in Cleveland. He's not a dominating, must-start caliber player, but he should certainly be rostered and sitting comfortably on someone's bench. When the matchup is right, as he proved in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills, McGahee can contribute as a solid flex play.
