Texans RB Arian Foster has sore hamstring
Imagine how bad Sunday could go for new Texans starting quarterback Case Keenum if he doesn't have running back Arian Foster available. Foster didn't practice Thursday because of a sore hamstring, but he told John McClain of the Houston Chronicle that he would play versus the Chiefs.
This bears watching, obviously, as Foster has a history of hamstring injuries, but I don't get the sense he is in danger of missing this game. As good as the Chiefs' defense is, it isn't a world-beater against the run; it ranks 23rd in run defense. Foster will get all of the touches he can handle to take as much pressure as possible off of Keenum. His status will be updated Friday.
