Vikings QB Josh Freeman will start

According to head coach Leslie Frazier, the Minnesota Vikings will start newly acquired quarterback Josh Freeman against the New York Giants Monday night.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's been a topsy-turvy season for Freeman. His job security was put on notice when the Bucs drafted Mike Glennon. Freeman struggled and then was benched. There was a bunch of drama that is too much to revisit. He got cut, more drama and now he's not only with the Vikings; he is their new starter. If you're crazy desperate for a QB this week, which you shouldn't be, Freeman isn't a bad play. The whole angle of him having something to prove and the bright lights of Monday Night Football is really enticing, perhaps only from a media standpoint. Freeman could really stick it to his former team by playing lights out for the rest of the season. Easier said than done though. As for Christian Ponder @cponder7 and Matt Cassel, good night and good luck.
