Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon has groin/hamstring injury, may not practice Wednesday
The Broncos' defense couldn't slow down Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon on Sunday. But he will be slowed down by himself this week. According to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Blackmon has a "groin/hamstring" injury and may not practice Wednesday.
Blackmon caught 14 passes for 190 yards in just his second game of the season in Week 6.
That injury description makes it obvious that there is a lack of concrete knowledge on just what is bothering Blackmon. The Jags would be smart to take it easy with him during the week, especially with Cecil Shorts ' Week 7 status being very cloudy at the moment. If he can play, Blackmon looks like a must-start in this weekend's game versus the Chargers. He'll have Chad Henne throwing the ball to him once again.
