Titans RB Chris Johnson lashes out at fantasy owners on Twitter

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson @ChrisJohnson28 sent a strong message to his followers that he doesn't care what his fantasy owners think on his Twitter page on Monday. "Public service announcement: I can care less about fantasy football. Key word fantasy. As long as we win I'm happy. I rush for 200 n lose y'all happy," wrote Johnson before adding a second tweet. "U r the head coach n the owners of ur fantasy team so u should be mad at urself I didn't ask any of u to draft me so if I'm so sorry y start me." Johnson rushed for only 21 yards on 15 carries and had two catches for 10 yards in the Titans win over the Jets last Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Sometimes professional athletes and Twitter do not mesh well. San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick made noise on Twitter earlier this season by favoriting negative tweets directed at him on the social media site, now Chris Johnson has taken to Twitter to respond to fantasy owners. To be honest, it's hard not to agree with Johnson. It's only a game, the whole point of fantasy football is to have fun and enjoy it. If you feel the need to send angry messages to players on Twitter, which is most likely what Johnson is responding to, maybe fantasy football isn't for you.

These guys get paid millions because they are entertainers who perform for the fans. Quit crying Cj and play better.

True - but maybe he should have said - fantasy owners would be happy with 50yards.
