Bears declare Michael Bush is their goal-line RB
This is going to irk Matt Forte 's fantasy owners, but here it is: Bears head coach Marc Trestman said Monday that "we've kind of isolated and declared Michael (Bush) our goal-line running back."
Literally. Bush will be used on the goal line, much like he was on Sunday night when it took him not one, not two, but three tries to score from the 1-yard line. Overall, Bush ended the game with nine yards on eight carries and that score. Forte still scored on a run from the 5, so he's going to get the ball deep in opponent's territory, just not 99 yards deep. Forte remains a near-elite RB1. Bush is a handcuff only.
