Steelers 'planning' to play RB Le'Veon Bell this Sunday

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported Monday night that the Steelers are "planning" to play running back Le'Veon Bell this Sunday against the Vikings. Bell sprained his right foot on the fourth carry on his preseason back on Aug. 19, and Glazer tweets that the team originally wanted to keep Bell on the bench until Week 6, but Bell has "progressed faster than they thought," and the Steelers feel like he can play this week as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Steelers have the second-worst run offense in the league, averaging a smidgen more than 50 yards per game on the ground. Jonathan Dwyer @JDwyer27, Isaac Redman @ired33, and Felix Jones @felixjones28 have been nothing special at all, so you assume that Bell could become the lead runner here right away. Now, that Pittsburgh offense line is still a mess, and that is going to give the rookie trouble finding consistent running lanes, and the team surely won't overwork him early on, but a back with Bell's skill set is an upgrade over that aforementioned trio. I think Bell is a flex option who can turn into an every-week RB2.
