No workload limits for Lions RB Reggie Bush

Lions running back Reggie Bush @reggie_bush gave fantasy owners a spectacular Week 1 box score as he touched the ball 25 times and recorded 191 total yards and a touchdown. All of that work gave the Lions a victory and gave Bush a lot of pain, including a dislocated thumb. But head coach Jim Schwartz said Monday that's all part of the job.
"Reggie's a tough guy. There's probably, I don't know how many running backs carry or touch the ball as many times as he did yesterday, but anybody that did is probably experiencing the same kind of things today," Schwartz said.
"His thumb happened on a pass. That's life in the big city. You're a running back in the NFL, there's going to be some Mondays where you're not going to be feeling great. Feel a little bit better when you get the win and when you make the plays that he made. That's what we're looking for from him and not anything else."

Fantasy Analysis:

Once again, please go pick up Joique Bell @JoiqueBell if you haven't done so already. If Bush stays healthy, there is no doubt that he can be an RB1 this season. But he has already suffered a dislocated thumb, a groin strain and a hip injury through one game. His career high for touches in a season is 262, set last year. If Schwartz intends on giving Bush 20-25 touches per week, he will either break that career-high total easily or break something else that's not as good.
