Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor will start preseason finale

As first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders will go with Terrelle Pryor @TerrellePryor as their starting quarterback in Thursday's preseason finale. Schefter adds that the starting job "is his to put away." Matt Flynn, who started the team's first three preseason games, needs to rest a sore throwing arm, according to the team.

Fantasy Analysis:

That "injury" makes it easy for the Raiders to tab Pryor, but they could have just said Pryor earned the start by outplaying Flynn in the preseason, especially on Friday against the Bears. Two of Flynn's six passes in that game were picked off. Then Pryor led the team to 26 points in two and a half quarters. The accuracy still has to come, but Pryor can make so many things happen because of his outstanding athleticism. I'll be surprised if he isn't starting Week 1, even if Flynn is ready to go. He has rushed for more than 80 yards and a touchdown this preseason, and that makes me slightly interested in him for fantasy purposes.
