Ravens TE Dennis Pitta carted off during Saturday's practice
Can we just cancel practices across the league for the rest of the day? Players are dropping like flies out there today.
Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta is the latest player who needed to be carted off during practice on Saturday. According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, Pitta collided with safety James Ihedigbo in the back of the end zone and left the field with a towel covering his face. There has been no further word given on the exact injury Pitta suffered or its severity.
Yes, it's too early to speculate about what is wrong with Pitta ... but I'll speculate anyway and say it could be a concussion. I don't know. This note will be updated when more comes to light. Pitta is a top-six tight end in fantasy. He is critical for Joe Flacco and an offense that has a serious lack of proven receivers.
Man, this day has been rough.
