Rams HC Jeff Fisher acknowledges he may use RB committee

Life without Steven Jackson is going to look very different for the Rams. Instead of having one running back he can depend on to shoulder the load, head coach Jeff Fisher knows he might have to call upon three to share it.
"I've usually had a guy, but that's what the competition is about, and that's what camp's for and preseason games are for," Fisher said Thursday. "It's not going to be out of the question that we don't play two or three of them quite a bit. We may not end up with a 'bell cow' like we've had last year in [Jackson] and previous years, and just let them all play."
Fisher also said a bell cow could emerge over the next five weeks and "carry it 350 times this year." But he likes having a few backs with different abilities.

Fantasy Analysis:

I think Daryl Richardson will end up leading this backfield in touches after a nice showing as a rookie last year.
But Zac Stacy may be the team's best inside runner and the most physically equipped to handle a large number of carries.
But the Rams will want to get something out of 2012 second-round pick Isaiah Pead @iPead, so he could be featured prominently.
And this is why I don't like to draft any of the Rams' running backs. I can guess who will have the best season, but I am pretty sure all three guys will give fantasy owners a lot of headaches and cannibalize each other's value.
