Chiefs haven't attempted a running play in first two days of camp

I'm all for making Alex Smith comfortable with Andy Reid's offense, but this sounds ridiculous. Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star brings word that the Chiefs' offense has been all passing throughout the first two days of training camp. No running plays have been attempted. Covitz also writes that Smith's favorite target in the early going has been rookie tight end Travis Kelce.

Fantasy Analysis:

Chiefs veterans aren't required to report until tomorrow, so it makes sense that Smith is throwing to a rookie often. Perhaps it is foreshadowing. Kelce has a lot of size and speed, and he will probably spend some of his first season out wide. He will flash at times this year, but he is a big-time dynasty target. I am a fan.
Don't worry about Kansas City avoiding the run early on. When the Chiefs line up Friday for their first full-squad practice, Jamaal Charles @jcharles25 will be involved plenty. Coach Andy Reid is a pass-first coach, but he will only hurt the Chiefs' chances if he decides to put the game on Smith's shoulders rather than Charles' legs. With lots of carries and perhaps 60 or more receptions on the way, Charles can be a top-four fantasy running back.
