Redskins QB Robert Griffin III confirms he won't play in preseason 'unless it's a necessity'

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III @RGIII pretty much confirmed what was already expected.
"Unless it's a necessity, then I don't think I'll play in the preseason -- unless Coach says so," he said.
Griffin also said during his press conference that he will wear a brace on his right knee and he will limit his practice work to individual and 7-on-7 drills right now.
"After that, whenever there's 11-on-11 drills, they'll keep me out of those," Griffin said.

Fantasy Analysis:

I've learned to accept that. I really want to see RGIII play in a game before I draft him, but it's totally understandable that the team is trying to get him to Week 1 as healthy as possible. He is easily a top-10 QB. While I think he will make strides as a passer, I would bet against him running for 800+ yards this year. But know that I also wasn't high on Adrian Peterson in his first year back from an ACL tear. Shows you how much I know.
