How many carries will Seahawks WR Percy Harvin get this season?

Percy Harvin @Percy_Harvin ran 52 times in 2011 and was on pace for 35 carries in 2012 before injury sidelined him. Now that he has joined the team that had the most running plays in the NFL last year, that versatility should be put to good use again. But how often? The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta asked that question on Wednesday. He isn't sure of an exact number -- he suggests maybe 2-3 carries per game, often in the red zone -- but the team is working on ways to get Harvin involved as a runner.

Fantasy Analysis:

The process is made easier by the fact that Darrell Bevell, Harvin's offensive coordinator in Minnesota from 2009-10, is now the Seahawks' OC. I think 30 carries is a conservative estimate for Harvin this year, but that's at least another 150 yards and perhaps a touchdown or two. While he might not be a 1,000-yard receiver in this offense, he does other things that boost his fantasy value.
