Still no word on camp participation of Redskins QB Robert Griffin III

It was only five days ago when we heard about Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III @RGIII passing all of his medical tests with flying colors. However, he hadn't been cleared to practice then and, five days later, he still hasn't. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Thursday no decision has been made about Griffin starting training camp on the Redskins' active roster or, if not, when he will be active.
Rapoport hints the Redskins could start by putting Griffin on the training camp Physically Unable to Perform list, something the Vikings did with running back Adrian Peterson last year. Peterson stayed on the PUP list for two weeks before practicing. He didn't play in any preseason games, but things worked out OK for him in the end.

Fantasy Analysis:

Griffin said last month that he would be ready for the first day of camp, but he also understood there was a chance that might not happen. The Redskins open training camp July 25, but it would make sense for the team to play it safe. Griffin will be limited in practices, and it's unknown if he will get any game action before September, although I hope so. He is still a low-end QB1.
