Cowboys QB Tony Romo cleared to practice

Tony Romo's rehab from offseason back surgery is just about complete. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Thursday that his franchise quarterback been cleared to practice when Dallas opens its training camp on Sunday. Romo underwent minor surgery to have a non-cancerous cyst removed from his back in April. He did some light throwing during walk-through practices, but Romo was otherwise held out of OTAs as a precaution. Backup quarterback Kyle Orton handled the first-team snaps in his place.

Fantasy Analysis:

The back surgery wasn't worth a second of anxiety. Romo was expected to be ready for camp, and here we are. Romo threw for 28 touchdowns and close to 5,000 yards last year, but he is a low-end QB1. That also means he is a nice value pick.
