Packers TE Jermichael Finley is 'really dialed in'

Those around Packers tight end Jermichael Finley @JermichaelF88 have noticed some changes in him for the better this year. Maybe it all began in the second half of last season when his rate of dropped passes declined sharply compared to the first half. ESPN Wisconsin's Jason Wilde has noticed that Finley isn't as outspoken as in years past, that he is less "loquacious." Finley's relationship with quarterback Aaron Rodgers has improved, and he showed up to offseason practice in ideal shape. It paid off as he drew praise from head coach Mike McCarthy. Finley's improvements have caught the attention of his position coach as well.
"He seems like he's really dialed in," tight ends coach Jerry Fontenot said of Finley. "... I think we definitely had a year to grow off of last year and the way we finished off the year, I'm happy with where we're starting. But again, we have a long ways to go."

Fantasy Analysis:

The Packers will keep hounding Finley to be his absolute best, because he can be a dominant tight end in this league, and they need him to really produce following the departure of Greg Jennings. Finley's draft stock has been steadily increasing over the past two months, but he can still be found in the 9th round of most drafts as a low-end TE1. If he stays healthy, this could be the year in which Finley fulfills his massive potential.
But, damn, it seems like we've been saying that for four years now.
