Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman says he wants to start

A very important training camp battle will be taking place in Dove Valley, Colo. this August to decide whether Montee Ball or Ronnie Hillman @MrHillman2U will be the Broncos' starting running back. The expectation before camp is that Ball will get the job while Hillman fulfills a change-of-pace, third-down role. That probably won't sit well with him.
""Come the opener, I want to be the guy back there," Hillman recently said to The Denver Post's Jeff Legwold. "I can't lie. I want it to be me and I'm pushing to be that guy. ... I know it's about production, that I have to produce to be in there. That's how they'll decide: who's producing."
Hillman was given the majority of the first-team reps during offseason practices, and according to Legwold, he has earned the first look in training camp.

Fantasy Analysis:

The fantasy community is betting heavily on Ball. He has been at least a third- or fourth-round pick for the better part of two months in drafts while Hillman is barely inside the top 50 at RB. I think that's fine. Beat writers around the team and Broncos players have said that Ball is being pushed hard to start immediately, and it feels like that's how it will pan out. This is just a reminder that Ball, who he is being drafted as an RB2, doesn't have the job yet, and it sounds like Hillman is determined to prove his worth.
