Bears RB Michael Bush played through shoulder fracture for most of 2012

Fantasy owners who drafted Michael Bush @michaelbush29 last year and kept him on their team as he put up the lowest yards-per-carry average of his career, hoping things would turn around at some point will take little solace in this news. But there's a pretty good reason for Bush's low numbers last year other than Matt Forte @MattForte22 and the Bears' awful offensive line. Bush played most of the season with a fractured bone in his right shoulder.
Bush suffered the injury in Week 2 against the Packers, but kept playing through it. He missed the final three games of the season, but that was due to a rib injury.
"That's just me," Bush told the Chicago Tribune, via NFL.com. "... If it ain't my leg and it ain't my feet and I can still walk around and run, I'm going to play."
Bush said he didn't need surgery for either injury and is now fully healed.

Fantasy Analysis:

Great. And now ... you can continue forgetting about Michael Bush. He will stay on as Chicago's goal-line back, but he will have little fantasy value otherwise. Forte is the horse here; Bush is the handcuff.
