Browns QB Brandon Weeden 'will be a rock-solid NFL starter'

Brandon Weeden @bweeden3's future as an NFL starter is foggy. We don't even know if it will last through this season. But according to ESPN's Ron Jaworski, Weeden future, especially with the tutelage of Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner, is certainly bright.
"For a rookie, Weeden showed uncommon poise and calm in the pocket," Jaworski said Monday. "... There's no question in my mind that his throwing skill set and Turner's quarterback-friendly system will mesh effectively."
Jaworski also mentioned that Weeden displayed "consistently solid" mechanics during his rookie year and was able to "drive the ball with velocity."

Fantasy Analysis:

Weeden is near the bottom of Jaworski's QB rankings, but he expects Weeden to take a big step forward, and so do I. The Browns have a nice group of young, athletic receivers. Josh Gordon is atop that group, but tight end Jordan Cameron can also get down the seam, and running back Trent Richardson has dependable hands out of the backfield. Travis Benjamin is extremely fast, and Greg Little was a second-round pick just two years ago.
If there is one thing we know Turner loves to do, it's throw the ball deep. The Browns are running more deep routes this year, and that plays right into Weeden's strength. His accuracy on all passes will have to improve, but he is the player you want to target if you are looking for a deep sleeper at quarterback.
