Lions WR Ryan Broyles, RB Mikel Leshoure take part in team drills Tuesday

Making quick recoveries from ACL surgeries is all the rage these days. Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles @RyanBroyles is a little more than six months removed from his own operation, and he was running routes with the team during Tuesday's practice. Quarterback Matthew Stafford liked what he saw out of Broyles.
"He looked pretty good," Stafford said via Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official website. "I didn't know he was going to be going today. I think it was kind of a last-minute decision for him. I think he felt pretty good and made some plays, which is a positive sign for us."
Running back Mikel Leshoure @MikelLeShoure25 was also on the field during team drills. He was limited during voluntary OTAs due to a hamstring injury that the Lions wanted to be cautious with.

Fantasy Analysis:

I care much more about Broyles' progress than Leshoure's, who looks to be a bad fit in Detroit's offense. He'll be an RB4 who should see most of his value come by way of short touchdowns.
Broyles is now working his way back from his second ACL tear in less than two years. That's a major concern, but if he can stay healthy, he shouldn't have much trouble becoming Stafford's second-favorite target on the outside. The expectation right now is that he'll be ready by Week 1. Broyles is a low-risk, high-upside pick in the later rounds.
