Patriots WR Aaron Dobson gets compared to Larry Fitzgerald

NFL Films' Greg Cosell told the Boston Globe on Friday that he sees a little bit of Larry Fitzgerald when he watches Patriots second-round rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson.
"This is going to sound crazy, but I thought that his size/hand combination at times, reminded me of Larry Fitzgerald," Cosell said. "He's not Larry Fitzgerald, obviously, but he's a big kid who can move very well with really good hands."

Fantasy Analysis:

No pressure, kid.
Dobson and Fitzgerald are similar in height and weight and both have good hands -- Dobson didn't drop a pass in his senior season at Marshall. Dobson tested faster than Fitzgerald in the 40-yard dash at their respective combines, but Larry has supreme body control, tremendous route-running ability and an uncanny knack for finding the soft spot in defensive secondaries. No, Dobson is not Larry Fitzgerald. But Cosell knows his stuff when it comes to player evaluation, and his takes are always notable. It sounds like the Patriots got themselves quite a player with the 59th overall pick. Expect to hear more buzz surrounding Dobson as we close in on the season. He is projected to be an opening-day starter and is a quality sleeper in 12-team leagues.
