Titans nearing deal for DE John Abraham

The Tennessee Titans could have a deal done for free agent defensive end John Abraham finished up by the end of the week. Rumors of a possible retirement have come and gone and now the 35-year-old looks to be another piece of the puzzle acquired by Tennessee during this active offseason. Last year, Derrick Morgan @dmorg91 and Kamerion Wimbley @Mr_Wimbley96 combined for 12.5 sacks. The Titans also drafted LSU DE Lavar Edwards in the fifth round, who is currently penciled in as the team's No. 2 LDE.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Titans added a number of notable players via free agency: S Bernard Pollard @Crushboy31, S George Wilson @GWilson37, TE Delanie Walker @delaniewalker82, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, RB Shonn Greene and WR Kevin Walter. Adding the league's active leader in sacks could result in the biggest impact of them all. The 13-year vet has 32.5 sacks in his last three seasons combined and ranks tied for 13th all-time. An improved pass rush can make everyone's job on this defense easier.
