New developments regarding Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch's pending DUI case

The Seattle Seahawks drafted Texas A&M running back Christine Michael @Cmike33 in the second round and many are speculating that this is because Marshawn Lynch @MoneyLynch could potentially face a league suspension depending on the outcome of his DUI case this summer. Lynch has a May 22 court date and another date on June 21, which is when the case will go to a jury. There is no estimated date on when the case would have a resolution or judgment.

Fantasy Analysis:

Michael should come in immediately and challenge second-year back Robert Turbin @RobT_33. The Seahawks also added Spencer Ware in the sixth round so obviously they aren't satisfied with their current crop of backs behind Lynch. Expect Lynch's draft stock to trickle down as we approach the season without a judgment. The way drafts are going, you better be sure to secure your running backs early. Right now, Lynch is a middle of the first round pick and that's just not worth the risk as far as I'm concerned. The Seahawks' passing game should also be improved which may detract from their reliance on Lynch.
