CB Darrelle Revis gets traded to Buccaneers, signs six-year, $96 million contract

So, is Revis Island now Revis Peninsula? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded for Darrelle Revis @Revis24 on Sunday, sending two draft picks to the Jets. Then, Revis and the Bucs came to terms on a six-year, $96 million contract that contains exactly zero guaranteed dollars.
The much-discussed swap finally got done when the Buccanners agreed to send their 2013 first-round pick (No. 13 overall) and a conditional 2014 fourth-round pick to New York. That pick can become a third-rounder if Revis is still with Tampa Bay on the third day of the 2014 league year.
Revis tore his left ACL last October, but his rehab is coming along well. There was a report from ESPN New York's Rich Cimini last week that Revis was "ahead of schedule" and had been cleared to run without restrictions.

Fantasy Analysis:

The fantasy impact here, assuming Revis is healthy come Week 1, is that the Buccaneers' secondary should be much tougher to burn than it was last season, when it ranked last in pass defense. They signed former 49ers safety Dashon Goldson in March. To have that kind of talent at the back end of the defense is imperative for a team in the same division as the high-scoring Falcons and Saints.
Meanwhile, the Jets probably didn't get as much as they would have liked in return for Revis. But they need to replenish that broken-down roster and now own four of the first 75 picks in this week's draft.
