Report: Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski will delay forearm surgery for 'several more weeks'

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski @RobGronkowski is going to have a fourth operation performed on his left forearm at some point. But when? According to the Boston Herald, not for "several more weeks."
Gronkowski has been battling an infection in that forearm for months, and surgeons won't be able to go into his arm and insert a new metal plate to hold it together until the infection clears. A source has told the Herald that Gronkowski has decided to wait "to make sure infection (is) gone before going back in." Once that new plate is installed, Gronkowski will need 10 weeks to recover.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Gronkowski may not be 100 percent by the start of the regular season.

Fantasy Analysis:

Have you ever seen an athlete experience so many problems with a forearm? Patriots training camp is about 15 weeks away, so Gronkowski has some time, but all parties here are basically in a holding pattern until the infection finally goes away. Expect the number Gronk updates to rival the number of Robert Griffin III updates this summer.
