QB Colt McCoy traded to 49ers

The man who was the Browns' starting quarterback just two years ago will now compete just to stay in the league. Quarterback Colt McCoy @ColtMcCoy was traded from Cleveland to San Francisco on Monday. A 2013 sixth-round pick headed west with McCoy. The Browns received a fifth-round pick and a seventh-round pick this year. McCoy will battle with Scott Tolzien for the right to back up Colin Kaepernick @Kaepernick7 this season.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's a minimal haul for Cleveland, but it's something more than nothing. Many reports stated the Browns were just going to cut McCoy lose, so to get anything for him is a win. McCoy became expendable when the team signed Jason Campbell earlier this week. McCoy isn't a lock to get the second-string job in San Fran. I think he will in the end, but he is of no concern in fantasy leagues, obviously.
