Titans HC Mike Munchak loves RB Shonn Greene

I really, really hate getting swept up in coach speak, especially when it's so obvious to detect. I shouldn't let it affect my emotions one way or the other. But sometimes, I just can't help myself. Titans head coach Mike Munchak talking about running back Shonn Greene today is one of those times.
"We're not going to have him as a short-yardage back, a goal-line back and four-minute back, and that's all he does," Munchak said of Greene on Tuesday. We feel he can play all three downs. He may get a series where he gets going and we're taking over the line of scrimmage and you want that runner in there, and we leave him in there."

Fantasy Analysis:

What the what? Is Munchak really saying that he's cool letting Shonn Greene stay in the game once he "gets going," and thereby forgetting about Chris Johnson @ChrisJohnson28? I know Johnson has been a relative disappointment the past couple of seasons, but even during those times, he has still been a clearly better player than Greene, who averaged 3.9 yards per carry last season. I am fine with Greene taking over around the goal line and in short yardage. But if Munchak actually starts giving Greene the opportunity to be a three-down back with Johnson ready on the sidelines, he will be doing this entire offense a disservice.

Why not let him have a series if he gets going which he shows he can do, how is that a disservice to the offense? Weren't Chris Johnson's best years when he was in a tandem? I may be wrong but that's what I remember. Now on to Greene, he's shown flashes and last year nobody respected the jets passing offense and they really didn't respect it without Holmes and Keller who were out most of the season. I think a change of scenery for Greene will do him good as well as it will for Johnson. If they draft Chance Warmack out of Alabama yet the skies the limit and we could see a 1,000 yard duo and WR haven't seen one of those in awhile.... Who did that last? Earth, Wind and Fire(Jacobs,Ward, and Bradshaw) with Earth and Wind going over?
